On August 10, a magnitude 7.4 quake struck the Chocó province in Colombia. The earthquake was felt across an enormous area, stretching for hundreds of miles across western Colombia.Airbnb.org is partnering with Project Hope, Cenaced, All Hands and Hearts, and Fundación Save the Children (Spain) to provide free, emergency housing for relief workers.
How to help
If you’d like to help provide free stays to people impacted by the earthquake, you can make a donation to Airbnb.org. 100% of donations go directly to emergency housing. If you’re an Airbnb host, you can sign up to offer discounted stays for impacted residents. Airbnb donates its host service fees to Airbnb.org for these stays and provides hosts with AirCover for each booking.
